My scanner keeps coming up with 'An undefined error has occurred. [2117]"

If anyone can help me fix it, i'd greatly appreciate it. My scanner is a HP ScanJet 3300C.

I WOULD help you, but I dont know much about that stuff. I use an HP Deskjet F335

But just to cover a few of the basics...

Check your drivers. Reinstall software. Make sure you are doing it correctly and its a tight connection (if its an old serial port especially)

An undefined error? Reinstall the software. Means there has to be an internal problem.
